About the Authors
NANCY J. MOONEY served as an education consultant on school improvement, school leadership, and communication arts. In her more than 20 years in education, she was a K–12 supervisor of language arts, an elementary principal, and an executive director of teaching and learning. As executive director, she supervised all aspects of teaching and learning, including curriculum development and supervising principals.
ANN T. MAUSBACH works as a central office administrator in charge of teaching and learning for a school district in the Midwest. She has served as an administrator for 14 years. Her administrative experience includes serving as a coordinator of staff development, a director of curriculum, and as an assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. By using the processes outlined in this book, Ann has been able to initiate and implement programs and practices that resulted in higher achievement.
