Jay McTigheJay McTighe brings a wealth of experience from a rich and varied career in education. He was involved with school improvement projects at the Maryland State Department of Education, and he directed the development of the Instructional Framework, a multimedia database on teaching. He has coauthored 16 books, including the award-winning and best-selling Understanding by Design series with Grant Wiggins.

Kristina DoubetKristina Doubet is a professor in the College of Education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she has received the Distinguished Teacher Award, the Madison Scholar Award, and the Sarah Miller Luck Endowed Professorship for Excellence in Education.
