About the Editors
PENELOPE J. WALD has taught and consulted in the field of education for three decades. Her teaching experience ranges from elementary general and special education to the graduate school level. From 1988 to 1999 Wald has been a member of the research staff at The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development and served as Project Director for three federally funded model projects focused on quality inclusive education.
MICHAEL S. CASTLEBERRY Professor of Special Education at The George Washington University, has taught at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels and has been active in sponsored activities related to teacher preparation in early childhood special education. His teaching emphasis is in the area of developmental assessment and testing, behavior management, and professional staff development.
