About the Author
HEIDI HAYES JACOBS is president of Curriculum Designers, Inc., and director of the Center for Curriculum Mapping. She consults extensively to schools, national and international organizations, media companies, businesses, and nonprofit groups. She has served as an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University's Teachers College in New York City since 1981.
