TIMM A. MACKLEY has worked in Ohio public schools for 25 years as a music teacher, assistant high school principal, high school principal, and school superintendent. He is superintendent of the Field Local Schools in Mogadore, Ohio, and works as a part-time consultant and speaker for the Core Knowledge Foundation. While serving as superintendent of the Crooksville Schools, Mackley was instrumental in adopting the Core Knowledge Sequence as the part of the district's curriculum for preschool through grade 8.
