How Do I Start an ASCD Student Chapter?

Thank you for your interest in the ASCD Student Chapter program. While navigating this web page, you will find an abundance of information ranging from how to start your own student chapter to the benefits of being involved and identifying resources you can use within your program. Membership in a student chapter is a valuable opportunity for preservice educators to connect with education professionals while transitioning into your own career in education.

Are You a Student? 

ASCD student members receive ASCD Basic membership benefits for only $25 a year. 

You can also contact your local affiliate to find out how to become a member and inquire about student rates.

Please note, you will need to sign in with your ASCD login information or create an ASCD login to sign up for an ASCD membership. Student members must provide a graduation date and the name of their school or ASCD student chapter. No promotional code is necessary.

Each person in a student chapter must be an ASCD member. If you are unable to pay online for your membership, please contact us.
