Complimentary ASCD Memberships

The president of each affiliate may award two complimentarymemberships per year (spanning July 1 through June 30 of the following year) to build influence, recruit members, or develop and maintain public relations.

Complimentary memberships should be awarded to such individuals as prominent educators, politicians, legislators, award recipients, and state or provincial department of education personnel. Please note that your governor and your state or provincial commissioner or minister of education automatically receive complimentary memberships as part of ASCD's Public Relations program.

Procedure for Awarding ASCD Complimentary Memberships

• Complete one Affiliate Request for Complimentary ASCD Membership form for each recipient.
  
  
• Present each recipient with a complimentary membership certificate, which will be e-mailed in PDF format for the Affiliate to print out.
