About the authors

As a consultant as well as adjunct faculty member at Gonzaga University School of Education in the Counselor Education Department, Kristin Souers provides professional development, consultation, education, and training services to schools, school districts, and organizations.

She is a licensed mental health counselor with a history of working in early learning, law enforcement, education, and mental health. For over 25 years, Souers has dedicated herself to bettering people's lives and advocating for those impacted by trauma.
