Conference Registration Information
When you register for the 2012 Teaching and Learning Conference, you can tailor your conference experience by choosing from more than 80 sessions on a variety of topics.
Please Note: Registration for the 2012 Teaching & Learning Conference does not include registration to the Pre-Conference Institutes. All Pre-Conference and Conference sessions will be held at the Hilton Atlanta.
To provide you with the ultimate professional development experience, we have opened up the conference, so you don't have to reserve your sessions in advance.
Registration Fees and Payment
Early Bird Registration—Save $50 (Register by July 31, 2012)

ASCD provides coffee, tea, and pastries each morning. Participants are responsible for their own lunches and dinners.
Registration for the 2012 Teaching and Learning Conference does not include registration to the Pre-Conference Institutes.

Register four people and the fifth registration is free!
Every fifth person who registers from your school or district may attend the 2012 Teaching and Learning Conference, Pre-Conference Institutes, or both at no cost.
All team members must register at the same time and for the same events at the Conference, Pre-Conference Institutes, or both. All five registration forms must be mailed together. (For Pre-Conference Institutes, registrations must include materials fees.)

The ASCD Teaching and Learning Conference and Pre-Conference Institutes may sell out. Do not depend on registering on-site. Please contact ASCD for availability. When space is available, you may register on-site for an additional $25 fee.
Registrations are accepted on a full-payment, first-come, first-served basis only. ASCD processes confirmations within 48 hours after receipt of registration. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received your registration confirmation.

Participant Name Badges
Easy On-Site Express Check-In Information
Prior to the conference, you will receive via e-mail a bar code that allows you to check yourself in when you arrive on-site.
Either print this bar code and bring it with you, or access it on-site with your mobile device. Go to the ASCD registration area to scan your bar code and print your badge. Name badges must be worn at all times.

The Making Connections Welcome Reception
On Thursday, October 25, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., be sure to attend the Making Connections Welcome Reception and visit the ASCD Resource Center. Pick up your conference materials and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Meet ASCD authors and presenters and network with others from your region and around the world.
Would you like to Volunteer?
All Pre-Conference and Conference sessions require a volunteer. You must be registered for the Pre-Conference or Conference to volunteer.
In return for your assistance, you will receive a gift certificate that you can use toward any ASCD product: Conference or Institute registrations, books, e-books, DVDs, and more. Gift certificates are nonrefundable.
- Pre-conference session hosted: $50 gift certificate
- One conference session hosted: $25 gift certificate
- Two conference sessions hosted: $50 gift certificate
- Three conference sessions hosted: $75 gift certificate
- Four conference sessions hosted: $100 gift certificate
- Five conference sessions hosted: $125 gift certificate
Plus, you'll receive complimentary registration for an ASCD PD Online Course of your choice.
Please notify ASCD when you register if you need a sign language interpreter or other special assistance.
ASCD reserves the right to cancel programs because of low registration. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified and will receive full refunds. Please do not make nonrefundable airline reservations until you contact ASCD to find out if your program is being considered for cancellation.
If you are unable to attend the Teaching and Learning Conference or a Pre-Conference Institute that you registered for, notify ASCD in writing or by e-mail 14 calendar days before the start of the event for which you are registered to request a credit voucher or refund.
A $35 cancellation fee will apply ($70 if canceling both Conference and Pre-Conference Institute registrations).

Get Academic Credit
As an ASCD professional development program participant, you may qualify for academic credit.
Certificate of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be e-mailed to all conference participants about one week after the conference. Only Pre-Conference participants will receive 5.5 clock hours on their certificate.
