What's New

Upcoming Vote on Changes to ASCD’s Constitution

In December 2009, ASCD members will receive a ballot on a series of proposed constitution changes recommended by ASCD’s Constitutional Review Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. The ballot, along with a copy of the current constitution and rationales for the changes, will mail with the December Education Update.

Legacy and Lessons

In conjunction with the PBS documentary special, Legacy, ASCD has partnered with the producers to invite junior and senior high school students to participate in the 2009 Legacy Essay Contest: What are the Legacy and Lessons of the Civil Rights Movement?
