Founded in 1943, ASCD is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that represents more than 160,000 educators from 148 countries and nearly 60 affiliates. Our members span the entire profession of educators, including superintendents, supervisors, principals, teachers, professors of education, and school board members.
ASCD addresses all aspects of effective teaching and learning such as
