Tasha Austin is a lecturer in language education and urban education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education and the N.J. Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages/NJ Bilingual Educators Teacher Education Special Interest Group representative. She is also the author of the bilingual children's book El Barrio Mio.
