ESEA/NCLB Implementation

ASCD's site devoted to the No Child Left Behind Act

 

On January 8, 2002, President Bush signed into law the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), which is the reauthorized version of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). ASCD has established this area to help educators learn about and address the many issues that have arisen as states and localities have begun the process of implementing the law, which has been called "the broadest rewriting of federal education policy in decades."
