Educational Leadership Receives Top Awards
SNAP Award
The Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) recently honored Educational Leadership's achievements. EL received a Silver EXCEL Award in the Magazines, Single Topic Issue category (circulation greater than 100,000), for the December 2007/January 2008 issue on "Informative Assessment." More than 1,200 publications competed for the EXCEL Awards this year.
APEX Award
In the 20th Annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence, Educational Leadership was recognized with two Awards for Excellence in the Magazines & Journals category:

Educational Leadership was also honored in the 2008 Excellence in Educational Publishing Awards Program, sponsored by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). EL had four finalists in three award categories:
About Educational Leadership
EL is ASCD's flagship publication. With a circulation of 175,000, EL is acknowledged throughout the world as an authoritative source of information about teaching and learning, new ideas and practices relevant to practicing educators, and the latest trends and issues affecting prekindergarten through higher education.
EL is published eight times each year, September through May, with a combined December/January issue. Copies are mailed to all ASCD members. Subscriptions and individual issues are also available for sale.
