Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Upon completion of any ASCD professional development institute or conference, you will receive a certificate of attendance or a certificate with a specified number of clock hours from ASCD.
Note: Clock hours are only awarded for participation in a professional development institute. This certificate includes 5.5–16.5 clock hours that you can use toward continuing education credit in most states.
Clock hours are not listed or awarded for the certificate of attendance at ASCD conferences: Annual Conference, Conference on Teaching Excellence (formerly known as the Summer Conference), and the Conference on Educational Leadership (formerly known as the Fall Conference).
