Central Michigan University Chooses ASCD Content for Teacher Leadership Degree Program
Central Michigan University (CMU) has chosen ASCD as the lead content provider for CMU’s new online Master of Arts degree in Teacher Leadership.
CMU’s MA program is tailored to teachers who want to pursue professional development and personal growth while they continue to teach, and features:
- 33 credit hours
- Degree completion in two years
- All classes online
- No entrance exams required
CMU’s courses will be enhanced with ASCD’s award-winning professional development materials for teachers. This material includes online instruction, books, and other resources to engage students in a blend of learning media.
Teacher leaders are often sought out to lead curriculum development, advance to program directors, or become department chairs.
