Aaron Sams is the founder of Sams Learning Designs, Turn About Learning, and The Flipped Learning Network.
He has been an educator since 2000 and is currently an adjunct lecturer at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He recently served as the director of digital learning at RPTS in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Sams taught chemistry and AP chemistry at Woodland Park High School in Woodland Park, Colo., and at Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, California. He received the 2009 Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching.
Sams served as cochair of the Colorado State Science Standards Revision Committee and serves as an advisor to TED-Ed.
