About the Author

Laura Erlauer is an elementary school principal. Her professional background includes teaching kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 7th grade, and serving as a coordinator for gifted and talented students. She has provided consultation and workshops for school districts and has been a speaker at local and national conventions on the topic of brain-compatible learning. Erlauer has authored and coauthored journal articles on the topic as well.

Erlauer received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, and her master's of science degree with a principal license and a curriculum license from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
