It isn't enough to simply say that you want to become better at teaching. Sometimes you need to develop a plan that will help you get there. In the same way that we must set goals, develop a plan to achieve those goals, collect feedback and make adjustments, and monitor progress for our students, we must do the same things for our own professional development. This action plan will help you do just that.
Your action plan is only as good as your commitment to see it through. You could create an action plan today and then file it away and never use it. Six weeks later, you are likely to be in the same place you are now. There is no magic in the action plan.
