Without the support of my superintendent, Dr. Ron Tolman, and my principal, Dr. Kelly Tolman, Fusion would still be an idea scribbled on the back page of a textbook. I am indebted to Rick Woodford for locating resources that allowed us to pilot Fusion. I would also like to express my gratitude to the board of trustees for maintaining openness to new ideas and for doing everything they can to help students succeed.

I owe much to the educators of Lincoln County School District #2 for having the courage to be the first to experiment with Fusion, especially the staff at Osmond Elementary School. We have definitely had our ups and downs, but the journey has been worthwhile. The memories we have made will be cherished for a lifetime.
