This issue of Education Update provides biographical data on the candidates, who are presented in alphabetical order under separate headings for each office. Elected candidates will take office at the conclusion of ASCD's 67th Annual Conference and Exhibit Show, March 26, 2012, in Philadelphia, Penn. The open positions are
- The president-elect for 2012–13, who will become president in 2013–14 and immediate past president in 2014–15.
- Members of the Board of Directors, who will serve for three years.
- Members-at-large of the Leadership Council, who will serve for three years.
