Join us in National Harbor, MD for an energizing three-day leadership experience designed to support emerging and experienced leaders. Together we'll share successes and struggles of educational leadership in this complex and changing environment.
Come together with peers of educators to develop action plans that solve the most pressing problems facing your school communities. You will walk away with ready-to-implement plans and clearly defined commitments, as well as the next steps to start implementation.
This leadership summit is part of ASCD's ongoing focus on ensuring that all educators are whole as professionals and individuals and that they are surrounded by a community of peers that can grow and rejuvenate together.

Crystal M. Edwards serves as a principal in one of the largest urban school districts. Edwards is the visionary behind the innovative nonprofit organization Empowering Single Moms, Inc.

Tiffany Anderson
Superintendent, Topeka Public Schools, Topeka, KS
Tiffany Anderson is the first African American female superintendent of Topeka Public Schools and has been a public school educator for nearly three decades, with the majority of that time as superintendent.

Certificate of attendance and academic credit
A Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to all conference participants about one week after the conference. Additionally, those who take part in our "Action Planning for The Adaptive Leader" will receive 5.5 clock hours on their certificate. And as an ASCD professional development program participant, you may qualify for academic credit (ASCD does not provide academic credit directly).
Hotel Reservations
Reservations can be made at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, where all Leadership Summit sessions will be held. Located minutes from Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria, the resort is just steps away from the restaurants and entertainment of National Harbor, including The Capital Wheel, MGM National Harbor, and Tanger Outlets.
