EL Online

A New EL for the 21st Century

Beginning this month, ASCD members who have given us their e-mail addresses will receive a digital edition of Educational Leadership in addition to their print edition. The digital edition features the same content and design as the print edition, but it offers some additional benefits.
Digital publications are fully searchable, making it easy for you to find the articles that interest you most. From your digital EL, you can go directly to any Web site mentioned in the magazine by clicking on the link. As you explore your digital edition, you will also find clickable text, such as the article titles in the online table of contents at the top of this page, that allow direct access to the resources mentioned. No more typing long URLs into your browser!
If you see an article you think others should read, the digital edition makes it easy to e-mail a limited number of pages to colleagues or share them on a social networking page. Using Google Gears, you can also download the full magazine to your hard drive for reading offline.
We hope that you enjoy your digitalEL. If you receive a print edition of ELbut haven't received your digital edition, contact us at 800-933-2723 ormember@ascd.org.

Interact with EL!

Educational Leadership is now offering some new ways for you to interact with us.
Starting this month, follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/ed_leadership for tweets about new content; links to blog posts, articles, and resources related to EL from around the Web; and opportunities to share your thoughts on current and upcoming ELthemes with our staff.
On our Web site each month, we are posing a question about the issue theme through our EL Exchange feature. Visitwww.ascd.org/el for the current question. Tell us your story in the space provided, and read what others have said. Also, watch Inservice, the ASCD blog, at www.ascd.org/blog, for posts onEL articles and guest posts from ELauthors.
We welcome your comments on the blog, EL Exchange, and Twitter. Keep an eye on the ASCD Web site (www.ascd.org) for more opportunities to interact.
