Ross Szabo is a mental health advocate, curriculum designer, and founding faculty member and wellness director at Geffen Academy at UCLA, an inclusive, university-affiliated school for 6th to 12th grade students. He was the director of outreach for the National Mental Health Awareness Campaign from 2002–2010. He is the author of Behind Happy Faces: Taking Charge of Your Mental Health (Taylor Trade Publishing, 2007) and A Kids Book About Anxiety (DK Children, 2023).
