About the Authors
MARK BOYNTON is a retired elementary and middle school principal, and has also been an elementary school teacher and counselor. He received his Master of Science in Education degree from Seattle University. In addition to helping individual schools assess their discipline plans, Mark has conducted more than 300 seminars throughout the United States and Canada.
CHRISTINE BOYNTON has been a substitute teacher, speech pathologist, program director, elementary school principal, and assistant superintendent in a large school district. Christine received her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree from Seattle University. She currently teaches in the education program at the University of Washington, Tacoma, and conducts school discipline assessments around the United States with her husband, Mark.
