Erik Palmer

Meet ASCD Author Erik Palmer

Erik Palmer is a professional speaker and educational consultant from Denver, Colo., whose passion for speaking has been part of every one of his careers. He spent 21 years in the classroom in the Cherry Creek School District in Englewood, Colo., primarily as an English teacher but also as a teacher of math, science, and civics.

Palmer is the author of the recent ASCD Arias short-format book Researching in a Digital World: How do I teach my students to conduct quality online research? and the ASCD book Teaching the Core Skills of Listening and Speaking. He is also a program consultant for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's English Language Arts program, Collections.
