About the authors

Beverly Tyner has been an educator for more than 30 years, serving as a classroom teacher, a school administrator, a college professor, and an international literacy consultant. Tyner is best known for taking literacy research and transforming it into easy-to-implement classroom strategies. She has published five prior books that focus on small-group differentiated reading instruction and produced several sets of video training materials. Her great passion is her work with teachers and students in long-term professional development that promotes literacy growth for all students.
