Have you ever thought about writing a book for ASCD? We'd like to hear from educators with ideas and strategies to help other school practitioners.
ASCD publishes approximately 25 books each year on a variety of topics of interest to our diverse membership. We are especially interested in receiving book proposals on
- Differentiating instruction and serving diverse learners.
- Enhancing early learning experiences.
- Supporting beginning teachers and novice principals.
- Building the leadership potential of school staffs.
- Working with parents and families.
- Enhancing student character and values.
- Strategies for boosting students' reading skills.
- Hiring and cultivating an excellent staff.
- Data-driven decision making.
- Classroom management and discipline.
ASCD books are written in a conversational, reader friendly style, and typically do not exceed 50,000 words in length.
