      Have you ever thought about writing a book for ASCD? We'd like to hear from educators with ideas and strategies to help other school practitioners.
      ASCD publishes approximately 25 books each year on a variety of topics of interest to our diverse membership. We are especially interested in receiving book proposals on
      • Differentiating instruction and serving diverse learners.
      • Enhancing early learning experiences.
      • Supporting beginning teachers and novice principals.
      • Building the leadership potential of school staffs.
      • Working with parents and families.
      • Enhancing student character and values.
      • Strategies for boosting students' reading skills.
      • Hiring and cultivating an excellent staff.
      • Data-driven decision making.
      • Classroom management and discipline.
      ASCD books are written in a conversational, reader friendly style, and typically do not exceed 50,000 words in length.
