Let's Face It!

ASCD has launched its whole child initiative page on Facebook. This will help spread the word to parents, students, and the general public about the importance of ensuring that every child is healthy, safe, engaged in learning, supported by caring adults, and academically challenged.
With its more than 90 million active users across the world, Facebook is a rapidly growing social networking site that can generate awareness and worldwide support for key organization initiatives. The whole child Facebook page includes background information about the initiative, ASCD's whole child video, and feeds to both ASCD's whole child and Inservice blogs. Users can express their support by adding themselves as fans, leaving posts on the wall, uploading photos and other content, and joining other fans in discussion groups.
Visit ASCD's whole child Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pages/Whole-Child/20386944150) and become a fan today. Leave a post on the wall with your ideas for content and applications that we should add to the page over time.
