ASCD's New Emerging Leaders

ASCD has selected 30 educators for its 2010 class of Emerging Leaders. The program's goal is to prepare young, ambitious educators to fulfill ASCD leadership roles and influence education policy and practice on a local and national level.

Each emerging leader will be paired with an ASCD mentor who will help guide his or her leadership development over a two-year period. Emerging leaders will also have the opportunity to pursue roles such as serving on ASCD's Legislative Committee or Annual Conference Planning Committee and contributing to ASCD publications likeEducational Leadership.
