Judith Shelton, Joanna Masingila, and Maria Wilkes, winners of the 1992 ASCD Outstanding Dissertation Awards. Shelton (Rutgers—The State University) won in the curriculum category, Masingila (Indiana University—Bloomington) won in instruction, and Wilkes (Ohio University—Athens) prevailed in supervision.
The winners of the Affiliate Publications Awards. Pennsylvania ASCD (Robert Nicely, editor) won for best newsletter. Oklahoma ASCD (Sharon Lease, editor) and Maine ASCD (Jan Hoffman, editor) were honored for their journals. And Pennsylvania ASCD, Wisconsin ASCD, and Michigan ASCD received awards for special publications.
