      • Victoria Costa, Gay Fawcett, Jill Frymier Russel, and Carol Ann Bonds, winners of the 1994 Outstanding Dissertation Awards. Costa (Univ. of California, Riverside) won in the curriculum category, Fawcett (Kent State Univ.) won for instruction, Russell (Univ. of Nebraska, Lincoln) for policy/organization, and Bonds (Univ. of Texas, Austin) for supervision.
      • North Carolina ASCD and Washington State ASCD, co-winners of the 1995 Affiliate Excellence Award. NCASCD and WSASCD were honored at the Affiliate Awards luncheon and at a general session.
      • Becky DeRigge was honored at a general session as the 1994 ASCD Employee of the Year, "in recognition of exemplary service and oustanding contributions." DeRigge is assistant to ASCD's Executive Director.
