Call for Reviewers

ASCD is collaborating with AASA, NAESP, and NASSP in administering the folio review process for NCATE accreditation of graduate leadership programs. Folio reviewers work on three-person teams composed of a university representative, a district administrator, and a school-based educator. ASCD anticipates a need for new reviewers during the next two years. If you are interested in being considered for reviewer openings, please call the ASCD Service Center at 703-549-9110 or write to Folio Coordinator, ASCD, 1250 N. Pitt St., Alexandria, VA 22314-1453 USA.

E-mail Us About ASCD's Annual Conference

ASCD has established two new e-mail addresses pertaining to Annual Conference: (annuconf@ascd.org) is for any comments or questions about the Conference in general, and (ac97eval@ascd.org) is for evaluating the 1997 Annual Conference and the individual sessions presented there.

Propose a Network

ASCD is accepting proposals for member-initiated networks. Proposed networks must be compatible with ASCD's mission, beliefs, and goals, and meet member needs. These information-sharing groups may be funded for up to $1,500 annually to defray communication expenses (both print and electronic). Network grants will be allocated by early September. For a proposal form, call ASCD's Service Center at 1-800-933-2723 or 703-549-9110, send an e-mail to member@ascd.org, or write ASCD, Network Proposals, Constituent Relations, 1250 N. Pitt St., Alexandria, VA 22314-1453 USA. Deadline for submissions is July 1, 1997.
