The 2001–02 Nominations Committee invites ASCD members to submit names of individuals they recommend to run for office in 2002. The 2002 elections represent the first time that individuals will be running for positions under the new governance structure adopted by the membership in the fall of 2000. The Nominations Committee encourages individuals to submit either their own names or those of persons they believe would be interested in any of the positions to be filled—President-Elect, Review Council member, members of the Board of Directors, and members-at-large of the Leadership Council. Candidacy forms can be downloaded from ASCD's Web page at http://www.ascd.org, under "Who We Are." The completed forms should be sent to the chair of the 2001–02 Nominations Committee, Anthony Mello, at 15 Dogwood Lane, Tuxedo Park, NY 10987; e-mail: AnMello@aol.com; phone and fax: 1-845-753-3795. You can also contact Becky DeRigge (bderigge@ascd.org) for a set of the candidacy forms.
