      If you are entitled to vote in this year's election,you may vote online or return the paper ballotenclosed with this newsletter. To vote online, go tohttps://my.ascd.org/login.cfm, enter your member IDand password, and follow the instructions.
      If you prefer to return the paper ballot, please use ablue or black ink pen to complete it and then drop it inthe mail, postmarked no later than November 15, 2008.Postage is paid for the return of ballots, and there isno need to placethe postcard inan envelope; thereturn addressappears on theother side of theballot. You mustsign the ballot asrequired in§13.1-848 ofVirginia Code,or your ballot willnot be counted. You'll vote for President-Elect, twomembers of the Board of Directors, and six at-largemembers of the Leadership Council.
      You may not have received a ballot. According toASCD's Constitution, not every member has votingprivileges. If you are a complimentary member, or ifyour payment was not processed as of August 15, 2008,you are not entitled to vote. (Holders of multiplememberships may vote only once.)
