On the heels of the presidential inauguration this January, the 2017 ASCD Leadership Institute for Legislative Advocacy (LILA) will be held in Washington, D.C. Join us January 22–24 to learn about the education policy issues facing the new president and the newly appointed members of Congress. At LILA, you will have the opportunity to hone your advocacy skills to enhance your influence at the local, state, and federal levels. Attendees will learn how to combine their professional expertise and passion to craft persuasive messages for their scheduled meetings with federal lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
