ASCD is saddened to announce the death of Glenys Unruh, who served as ASCD President from 1974–75. An expert on curriculum, Unruh was the author of Responsive Curriculum Development: Theory and Action, published in 1975, and coauthor of Curriculum Development: Problems, Processes, and Progress, published in 1984.
A dedicated ASCD member, she attended ASCD Annual Conferences through 1998. Unruh died on December 16, 2001, at the age of 90.
