Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2008. National Center for Education Statistics (2009).This report found that more than nearly 1.7 million children were victims of crime on school property in 2006.
The State of Preschool 2008. National Institute for Early Education Research (2008).State-funded preschool programs expanded greatly in 2006–2007, but the economy may shut down many of these programs according to this report.
