- Teens and Mobile Phones. Pew Internet and American Life Project (April 2010). There has been a large increase in cell phone ownership among young adults over the past few years, and this report concludes that text messaging is now the primary method by which teens communicate with their friends.

This annual report analyzes survey data from the U.S. Department of Education on Title II-D about the effectiveness of educational technology grants provided to state education agencies.
- Improving Low-Performing Schools: Summary of a Forum. Center on Education Policy (April 2010). This summary of a December 2009 forum hosted by the Center for Education Policy on underachieving schools says that there is no single strategy that can turn schools around. Each school has different needs, and success involves creating a tailor-made strategy for each individual school.
- Midwest Evaluation of the Adult Functioning of Former Foster Youth. Chapin Hill at the University of Chicago (April 2010). Foster youth who "age out" of the system are more than three times as likely to not have earned a high school diploma than non-foster youth.
