Some have debated raising the compulsory school attendance age to 18, but this study found that raising the age would not necessarily mean a higher graduation rate. To reach their conclusion, researchers looked at different states and their varying policies on this topic, and the study found that intervention programs and policies were more likely to keep students in school.
