Janet Williams has been teaching for 20 years in general education and special education at the elementary through high school levels. She has held various positions, including special education teacher and consultant, job coordinator and supervisor, elementary teacher for grades K-3, school counselor, mentor, and college instructor. She has worked with students representing a range of diversity in cultural backgrounds, social and economic classes, interests, and abilities, including those students with the most significant disabilities. She currently works for the Basic School Network as an educational consultant/mentor and teaches education courses at D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York.
