Jill Morgan is a research and training specialist in the Interdisciplinary Training Division at the Center for Persons with Disabilities, Utah State University, in Logan, Utah. Betty Y. Ashbaker is an assistant professor in Counseling Psychology and Special Education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Morgan and Ashbaker coauthored The Effective Educator: A Training Program for Paraeducators; The Pro-Active Paraeducator: More Than 200 Really Nifty Ideas for People Who Help Teachers; and Teamwork and Self-Evaluation for Teachers and Paraeducators, a training manual to help classroom teams develop their instructional skills and work together more effectively.
