Karen Gross is an author and educator. She is a former college president and former senior policy advisor to the U.S. Department of Education. She writes a trauma sensitive children's book series, Lady Lucy's Quest. Her most recent adult book is Trauma Doesn't Stop at the School Door (Teachers College Press, 2020).
