Loretta S. Goff
About
Loretta S. Goff is assistant superintendent for the Jackson County School District, Mississippi. As a K-12 educator, she has served as teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal, director of instruction, and assistant superintendent. As principal, Goff was awarded the Congressional District 5 Administrator of the Year award and was recognized by Mississippi's State Board of Education for leading outstanding programs. Goff is known as a leader in education, having served as president of the Mississippi Reading Association and a member of the board of directors for Singing River Head Start Association and of multiple state task forces. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she also assists as a mentor-teacher for the Administrator Cohort Program. Goff is an adjunct professor for the University of South Alabama in Educational Leadership and Foundations, has published in several refereed journals, and has presented at various state, national, and international conferences.
