Sharon Vaughn is Director and H.E. Hartfelder/Southland Corporation Regent's Chair of the University of Texas Center for Reading and Language Arts in Austin. She is also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Learning Disabilities, author of numerous books and research articles on learning and reading difficulties, and a consultant on translating research into practice for school districts and state departments of education.
