Shereen El Mallah is a former K-12 teacher and guidance counselor, trained developmental psychologist, and current research assistant professor at the University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development. She is committed to using research to interrupt inequitable practices, policies, and curricula in educational settings. She regularly leverages collaborative partnerships with schools and districts to close the gap between what works in research and what works in practice.
