Stephen Krulik is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics Education at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has taught courses in methods of teaching mathematics at all levels. His special areas of expertise include the history of mathematics, the teaching of problem solving, and methods of teaching mathematics. He has been at Temple for 37 years. In 2001, Dr. Krulik received the Lindbach Award as an outstanding college professor and in 2003 he was honored by Temple University with the Great Teacher Award.
