Wayne A. Hickman is an assistant professor and Tier II Leadership program coordinator in the College of Education and Human Development, Department of Teaching and Leading, at Augusta University in Georgia. He retired from K–12 education in June 2024 with over three decades of experience, including roles as a principal, student services director, and executive director of operations.
