William C. Bosher Jr.
About
William C. Bosher Jr. is a former teacher, high school principal, superintendent, and chief state school officer. He has a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Richmond, a master of education degree in counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and a doctoral degree in educational administration from the University of Virginia. He has served on numerous legislative and gubernatorial commissions and presently directs a statewide project on leadership for reform. He is a Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and Education, Executive Director of the Commonwealth Educational Policy Institute, and Dean of the School of Education at VCU.
