About the authors

Sylvia Linan-Thompson is Assistant Professor of Special Education at the University of Texas at Austin, and has engaged in large-scale research projects that examine reading interventions for struggling readers in primary grades, literacy acquisition of English-language learners, and Spanish literacy development.
